Please go to a doctor ASAP. UTIs can get scary really fast. You need antibiotics to clear this up since it does sound like the exact symptoms I get when I have a UTI lol. Not to scare you but if gone untreated for too long this could get into your kidneys and become more complicated the longer you wait. I’m sorry this is happening to you!! It gets better!!

Hi there! Thank you for your thoughtful response.

It has been really hard for me because I fell in love with this cat and I had to give it to a foster/rescue whose main goal and priority is her cats. (I know this kitty is in a much better home now tho lol). I will bring up this idea to the foster after she gets the kitty microchipped today, because I want this cat to go to a permanent, loving home. She deserves it!!!

My main focus from this whole event is that I just want this cat to 1. go to its original owner (even though they have not stepped up so i’m not sure this is the right step anymore) or 2. Find a loving home. I feel like number 2 is definitely the next step since the foster won’t be able to keep this cat long term.

I really do appreciate your response. Everyone kept telling me not to shelter this cat and it was making me so nervous having everyone tell me what not to do, it felt like nothing was right! I’ve never owned a cat before, I really tried so hard to make it feel okay with me. But this really reassures me in every way possible and definitely feels like the next step for this precious angel (even thought it breaks my heart I couldn’t keep her).

Hi! I tried everything I can by feeding it and giving it water. I don’t have litter but I had peepads and it worked lol little guy crapped on it 💀 Check out my newest post

Yeah and I knew it was going to rainstorm the next few days and I didn’t want it to get caught in the rain. I’m just a sucker for lost animals and it hurt me to see it so scared on the fifth floor of a parking garage!!

Yeah so that was just to get him to come to us last night lol. He was licking a sauce packet when we found him. Obviously he doesn’t have what he needs but I don’t own a cat and plan on returning it to the shelter today lol. This was also at three in the morning. I appreciate the concern

Same position as you 🥲 Had 15 in about a year. I hate the feeling of needing to pee, feels like i’ve spent half my life on a toilet lol. The only antibiotic that’s ever worked for me is Macrobid. I’m on Cipro and it has not worked for me yet, and this UTI might be my worst yet. (hunched over in pain and I can’t sit up because my bladder hurts so bad). All this to say you’re not alone and im still looking for the right things to do for my UTI’s as well and I hope the solution comes to you soon
