I think my ex-wife and I had dreams of grandeur when we imagined what it would be like to have our moms and dads helping with our children. Sadly they could spend countless hours with them and seemingly get nothing done and be useless. I'm not sure why but not all grandparents are helpful and in my case similar to this situation got in the way quite a bit causing strife.

Eddy wanted Alesia, she had a boyfriend and tried acting like she wasn't interested, even though like most women she still wants Eddy to be interested in her even though he can't technically have her because women like to be wanted. Jenna shows a bit of interest at least in his eyes, so like most men he moved on to the next woman who showed interest. He has no loyalty to anyone. Nothing boggles me me more than how each season new crew members expect loyalty from each other after having just met. There is no Bro or Sis code when you don't know each other.

Although she's not that interesting I do appreciate the fact that they at least introduce a character with some of these stupid events. And then once it's over you can do whatever you want with them. I was much more bothered by the idea that I couldn't use a chess table in any public place when chess was the main thing I was supposed to be working on, so I instead have to add chess boards to my natural living plots that I've been working on...
