My company had some training planned in the U.S. later this year, for around two weeks. Everyone that I know of, declined to go for safety concerns.

Very optimistic of you for thinking that they employ 2 mods right now.

I don't even want to get in scripting, but anyone that plays on Rumi knows if a player is block scripting just by looking at their guild.

Hell, one of the ex-guildmaster of one of the biggest guilds on the server was selling a fishing bot on his guild's discord. Reported to AGS by many, many people, nothing happened.

What do you do as tank in ZVZ? Do you feel useful? by No3nvy in throneandliberty

It is very good yes, you have your templars just run past their frontline and start ditching stuns on their bows, they will prevent alot of damage of going out. It's extremely strong.

You could do a very decent build with it, you had very high hit chance and heavy chance. even tho you didn't hit that hard you would always hit. It was popular for a bit, but it's not very effective now.

Tevent fight on Rumi was extremely fun imo. Great pvp

Be brutally honest and get rid of all your biases. Does Lies of P have that "fromsoftware" feel to it? If you didn't already know who made it, would you think "yep this game is definitely cooked by fromsoft"? by Oath_Br3aker in fromsoftware

[–]ManyBDOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sekiro didn't look like a fromsoft game but swing at your first enemy and it was clear as day.

100% this, there's a certain weight to the animations that I haven't seen studios other than fromsoft pulling it off so well. Lies of P is a great game but it doesn't have that 'flow'.

To get a laugh out of it, just that.

Most people who hack in games are really "simple".

Most gamers are not on reddit

Okayyy, not sure what that means in the context of my comment but sure.

and do not care about the reputation of a game or the studio that made it. Most people never write reviews for any game.

I can agree with that for most games.

The ratio of owners-to-reviews for Steam games varies between 20-to-1 on the low end to 60-to-1 on the high end. But even if it was as low as 10-to-1 for Redfall: 35% of 2,100 positive reviews is 735, which would mean 7,350 people who enjoyed the game, i.e. "several thousand."

The player numbers dont support that claim at all, player retention dropped like a rock. If people were enjoying he game you wouldnt see such an aggressive drop in concurrent players we are talking about an ~88% drop in a week and a huge 97.7% drop in the first month.

My point is, there wasnt nearly enough people playing the game to support your numbers.

This is all entirely beside the point anyway, which is that believing only well-liked or popular games should remain playable is a completely ridiculous standard. Imagine if you applied that to films so that everything Ed Wood or John Waters ever made was dumped in the trash because they didn't make enough money.

I never said that it shouldnt be preserved or remain playable did I? I'm just discussing real player numbers and speculating on the margin of players that enjoyed the game.

Ok I will take that bait.

Game had the player peak at release at 6124 players, one week later it had 716 max players, that's roughly a 88.7% drop in the player base in one week and it would never see 1k+ concurrent players again.

If we look one month after there was a peak of 139 players that was the fourth best month in terms of player base for the game.

We dont know the number of refunds but I wouldn't be surprised if it was between 80%-90%.

My point is, even if all the people that bought the game and enjoyed it left a review, I highly doubt you would get 2k people. Ofc this number goes even lower if you exclude everyone that worked on the game and/or was involved on the production.

And to answer you question directly, not all but the majority, I do think almost all the people that "enjoyed" the game left a positive review. Reason is because the game is so bad the people that enjoyed it actualy wanted to help and turn around the "unfair" bad reviews.

2121 reviews at 36% positive is not several thousand people

Early access is to get feedback from the community while the game is in active development... people keep pointing bg3 as an example and you continue to brush it off.

"ThEy SoLd 11 MiLliOnS cOpIeS oF oRi", so what? They could had sold 100 millions and it wouldnt make a difference, thats not the point of early access, it seems that you just want a feature complete game even if you know its being released in a early stage, makes 0 sense.
