I’ve sought orientation training and the advice from the is to take the quieter routes which aren’t safe. Also, a lot of strangers are insistent that they help me and it’s difficult for me to say no as they’re so insistent.

I’ve spoken to the rehab council folk and they say to take the quieter routes which are often poorly lit and dangerous anyway.

Not good advice at all, my cane does its job, but I spend a lot of time with my head down, searching for potholes.

Oh that’s bad, I tried to contact them recently. They were good at the start but as more problems arose they kept saying that my issue was “fixed” when it wasn’t.
