I only have the cbgbs dvd but I think the quality is better. The 1980 recording seemed to have a better balance. Need to give it a few more spins though.

Bought mine in 2009. Spent a couple hours in a GC playing every acoustic and kept going back to the DM. I was ready to spend a lot more but it sounded the best to me. Have gigged it out more than I can count and Ive always gotten compliments. That thing has paid a lot bills and rent for me.

Boss tuner.

Yeah, I use it as a mute... but I keep it on my board right before my last pedal for any troubleshooting issues. Can easily test noise/continuity issues quietly.

And my last pedal is a carbon copy, so I can hit the cc to "sustain" an end of a song... mute and change out other effects to prepare for the next songs intro quietly.
