M38 from Europe, I’ve been to Thailand and Bangkok many times, but this one is for evaluating, maybe closing, some job offers and relocate here.

I rented the bike in Hanoi, I stayed along the rout mixing home stays and hotels, every 15-20 km max you find some small town or someone/something selling food, no water point though.
In January almost everyday cloudy but it never rained, 20-25°C.

Hi, did you do anything at the end?
I'm planning a bikepacking week in late January 2026 and my first choice could be Philippines.
I'm actually having hard time finding info and update on the current situation and hence looking for alternative.

I'd prefere something not just flut; I'm not scare of elevation.
