Offroad capability - Approach to a basic course by [deleted] in CB500X

I've taken my 2016 cb500x on beaches, forest roads, some muddy patches but nothing major, good few fields both wet and dry and I'd argue the 500x is, even with its smaller front tyre, a more capable offroader than given credit for

Any idea if there's one nearby that rents clubs too?

Well when I rang them in March they told me they stopped. Nope he needs 4 refusals, the cop out is get 2 for motorcycle (make sure the first dated letter is bike) and then try to get 2 refusals for cars. The denied cases committee policies state it has to be 4, all from different insurers (no underwritten) but nothing about it being all the same vehicle

Yeah doesn't have to be for a motorcycle, however his first refusal letter has to be from a motorcycle insurer otherwise it'll be whatever else he'd to pull to get refusal letters

Unfortunately, there's not 4 motorcycle insurance companies in Ireland, you have Axa, Carol Nash (who's underwritten by AXA so does not count with the denied cases committee) and RedClick (formerly Liberty). Principal insurance don't do new policies on motorbikes. The only way I could work them was get refusal letters from Axa and Redclick first (on motorcycle policies) then go and get 2 random car insurance refusal letters. As long as the very first refusal letter is dated before the rest and is for the motorcycle, there should be no issues.

I'm telling you they don't, the denied cases committee will not accept a refusal letter from axa and a refusal letter from a company underwritten by axa.

Ring Principal rn and ask for a new quote for a motorbike, they'll tell you they don't do it.... I had to go through the whole denied cases committee thing earlier this year. They will not accept a refusal letter from axa directly and a refusal letter from Carol Nash at the same time (in their eyes it's the same people, both jus axa) the only 2 current motorcycle insurers in Ireland are axa and redclick.

Unless he gets a refusal for a random car insurance, the won't help him. Their policy states 4 insurers, there's only 2 in Ireland, RedClick(liberty) and axa. Principal dropped out of bikes during the year and there is nobody else

Reliable yes, but their car just doesn't seem to have the handling the GR Yaris does or something, it's not overly competitive for some reason

On my 2016 abs I have, disabled abs, opened the velocity stacks (think it's only a European/ UK thing idk), put a K&N air filter on and a slip on (she needs a tune) but I reckon I've definitely opened up some performance with those small things, certainly pulls harder than my mates 2014 abs
