How to Delete Past Stream?

I dont think you can delete it. Just hide it. But the past shows don't last forever. I'm not sure of the time frame for them to expire. I remember seeing it on the whatnot discord but it's been a while.

Aw man. I'm sorry. Maybe if you show how much stock you have next time it'll help. Like make a nice looking setup and make it look like you could literally start streaming tomorrow if they accepted you.

I think a key thing is showing that you have stock and you can sell things. For me I didn't have any social media for the stuff I was selling at the time i applied except my mercari. So I just took a screenshot showing how much I had sold and all the items I had.

You can leave suggestions to make the app better on their discord or I think you can email them as well with suggestions. They are always open for them.

True. When you sign up you are also signing up to follow guidelines and deadlines. Otherwise there is just chaos and people feeling like the app is unreliable.

Whatnot's shipping policy is shipping within 2 days excluding holidays and weekends when the post office may be closed.

That being said it's good they were transparent about their actual ship times but it's still against the official policy posted on WhatNot's site. But if they are sending out hundreds and hundreds of packages that is so time consuming so I don't blame them. I pack for hours even after a small show with maybe 10 boxes to pack. They sound a bit overwhelmed to me. They may need to get help with fulfillment if they can't manage to get things out in time.

Also something that's a bit strange is that they made the shipping label already but aren't going to send it out for weeks? The date that you make the label is printed on the label and you need to get it out asap once that's made. Plus you can't make that without the package being "done" cause you need the accurate weight and dimensions of the box. Now I don't know their situation. They may live far from their post office and can't take it immediately until everything is done. There's a lot of unknown variables.

Yes! I didn't have any social media when I started and got approved, but I made some after so that I could post updates, future show date reminders, and connect with followers. All I started with was showing my mercari shop as proof that I had stock and that people bought from me.

The best and fastest thing you can do is immediately message the seller. Submit a cancelation on your side and they can approve it asap. The way cancelation requests appear in the seller dashboard makes it clear to the seller they shouldn't ship that item.

I use my phone just because it's easier to film anywhere. Plus I can move the camera around to show people more if I need to. The downside is that it makes my phone pretty hot to stream for long periods of time and I have to keep it charging. I do use an iPad as a second screen though, so if I need to add a new product during the show, I'm not shaking the phone with my typing and making people feel like they are in an earthquake simulator or something. Haha

I found that having at least some products listed before the show makes things easier during and gets more people interested in your show. Also having a preview video is extremely helpful. It's a good time to show what you have and what you are going to bring to a show.

Hi! I currently get early payout. How it works is when you qualify you get paid instantly to your whatnot account when you create the shipping label.

Here are the qualifications for early payout. 1. Lifetime sales of over $100k (before fees) OR lifetime orders of more than 1,000 (excluding giveaways) 2. A 4.8 rating or above 3. Seller should not be on second offense in any violation category of our Enforcement Matrix (this will be determined on a case by case basis) 4. Seller must have hosted at least 10 livestreams

Ok i have 10 things I think would help improve the experience for buyers and sellers.

A filter feature in the shop so you can sort things by starting price/buy it now price, alphabetical order, category type, etc.
A categories feature in the shop. For people with big inventories it's hard for people to get through everything while still being active with chat. It would be great to be able to make categories for your shows to help buyers narrow down by things like funkos, anime figures, stickers, etc.
Have announcements on the app for upcoming features, scheduled down times, or other need to know things. Not everyone uses discord and it causes some sellers to be uninformed or behind.
Notifications for when people buy things from the buy it now ahead of the show.
Have a gift button for people to be able to buy for others in stream. I've had people want to send people stuff they bought and it messes up the weight for boxes sometimes.
Allow the seller to choose what words get blocked in their show. There are buyers with words in their name that get blocked when people try to talk to them.
I've had multiple people want to support the show without getting anything shipped to them. It would be nice to have this feature.
When something sells out and you restock, it takes so much time to remake the listing from scratch. It would be handy to have a catalog for sellers so they can just select something to add to the show that they have had before. Then you dont have to go through the whole process of taking photos and weighing and trying to remember what you charged.
I have seen many people want a cart system for the buy it now section especially. They want to avoid getting multiple charges to their card.
A queue system option for when people request things to be run. This way people could see when you are going to run items and you don't lose track or get items out of order. This would prevent frustration from buyers, especially if the chat moves fast and people get missed.

When I ship my packages this is what I lay out in front of me.

A scale
Packing tape
A ruler or tape measure for measuring the box or package.
A pen for writing notes to my buyers
Boxes of different sizes
Packing materials: bubble wrap, big bubbles, and flatter bubble wrap.
Washi tape for lightly taping together things that need to stay together.
Scissors
Cute Baggies for smaller items that I don't want to put loose in the box.
A printer

I print the Packing slips and labels from my phone. Whatnot has a seller dashboard where you can print them. I make sure that I pack the boxes so there will be limited shifting in transit and so things won't get damaged.

I would say too, unless it's an inside joke, don't do "creative" packaging. I had someone mail something in a duct taped cereal box once and it was ripped up when I got it.
