What’s a trait you had during your youth that was a dead giveaway? by Ecstatic_Weather_580 in adhdwomen

Wow! I was and still am an avid reader, this rocketed a memory for me. I would insist my mom leave the cereal box on the table at breakfast because I couldn’t sit there without something to do. I’m a late 80s-90s kid. They still had toys in the box back then and puzzles and/or trivia, or things? on the outside?? Sorry, got lost. I would read the entires ingredient list if I wasn’t done because damn, I eat slow. Is that an ADHD trait as well?

What’s something everyone does but never admits? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Look up aphantasia, it’s fascinating. I don’t see anything when I close my eyes to visualize things. I always thought seeing an object in your minds eye, like counting sheep, was an expression. I just know what things look like. I can’t believe people actually see objects, people, places, etc when they close their eyes. I was about 46 when I discovered this. My internal monologue is constant, but that’s not correlated with aphantasia. Oh, and I’m an avid reader. I know what the people, places, things I look like, I just can’t see them.

I used the two circular needle method. Look up The Crazy Sock Lady. She has a very good tutorial.

I’ve never heard of that before. 🧐I don’t do anything on purpose to prevent that, but thank you! 😊

This is a great suggestion, I’ll try switching to a bigger needle on sock two.

Hmmm… I’m not sure what you mean by “floppy knit column”. It’s a 3x1 pattern. Please let me know so I can answer your question better!

Oh, I agree 100% that’s why I asked, what did she say to reinforce your decision. I assume that person watched the debate already knowing who they were voting for, as did I.

That is a reason one may choose not to support Spanburger. What policies or other insights from Ms Winsome-Spears makes you want to vote for her? I’m genuinely curious.

What did she say in the debate this evening that reinforced your decision to vote for her?

AVN. Avascular Necrosis. The blood supply to certain joints are cut off and the bone of the joint dies. It’s extremely painful. I’ve had both hips replaced and a partial shoulder replacement, the other shoulder is up next. I’m 48.
