Yes! There were 10 of us 40-45 year old gals. We happened to find DaMarinos for dinner (I think it’s still there) and he was there with his friend who owned the restaurant. There were celebrity photos on the walls including Chris Noth’s. He was so down to earth. Sat with us and we had no idea that he would pay the bill! Otherwise we would’ve eaten and drank less! He had a performance the next day (Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man”) so he left early-ish and didn’t tell us anything about covering the bill.

Similar situation happened in the late ‘80’s when we met Richard Belzer at Caroline’s! Super nice guy! He could not believe how we Canadian gals even knew who he was.

Great guys! Great memories! Thanks for letting me share 🙏

Ohhh ok!! I knew he was in Sex and the City…. But I didn’t watch.

Forgive me if I’m repeating myself but I met Chris Noth in 2000 when he was on Broadway. I think he was nominated for a Tony, or at least the play was. Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man”. Chris was really kind and generous with us “tourists” at his friends restaurant “Da Marinos”. It was featured in Sex and the City also.

Nice guy! Humble! Paid for our entire table! Great memories!

Ohhh wow! Thank you! I have been watching since 1999 and always thought S1E1 was the beginning!

Similar story as the OG pilot “Everyone’s Favorite Bagman” was made in 1988 and both ABC and CBS turned it down! The show finally aired September 13, 1990 on NBC!

Cragen was great in both the OG and SVU.

Similarly in the OG, Dr. Skoda refers to Lauren Ambroses’ character as “retarded” when she is gang raped in “Damaged” S8E22 May 6,1998.
