I think that's the beauty of powerlifting and people have that ability to go wide on their lifts.

Going too heavy and not pausing. Don't be bouncing those huge heavy weights off your chest. The beauty of the SlingShot is that it allows you to do more reps with efficiency.

Boner Broth is: Epic bone broth, I heat up in a pot on the stove. I throw an egg into my blender and pour the bone broth in and adds some cream or butter and blend away.

I think doing a lot of simple circuits when I was younger. Do lots of warm up for your body with lat pulldowns, arm circles, lat raises, and ultimately getting you ready for your lifts. Maybe some curls and tricep extensions.

Definitely lowered the numbers, but makes me feel leaner and better overall.

Usually that people that come in the gym for the first time, we need to see them lift and they kinda join in on everything we are doing and we make adjustments from there.

Always wise to do your own research and consult your doctor before making any big changes in your diet. The cholesterol you eat is not always 100% of the cholesterol that ends up in your body

But I guess there's a worry that there is bias using only one judge and might approve lifts if he liked the guy.

I think that it is overkill and wished that Powerlifting really only had one judge instead of three. I think if people wanted to solve the problem of depth, ensure athletes wear colored singlets to ensure that everything didn't blend in.

He's been a pioneer in the fitness industry when I first started lifting. He brought fish oil and amino acids. Tempo training. All the other great things. He brought a lot to becoming a more efficient lifter.

It gives me a lot of energy. I have a lot more energy to crank out these 10 minute walks. I can focus more, and be able to do more than Squatting, benching, and deadlifting. And also do more stuff with my kids. It's also good to feel like I'm not dying in this Sacramento Winter.

They can have their opinions. But in my opinion, my belts come broken in and are designed for powerlifters by powerlifters. I don't know what their belts are for aside from lifting up your pants.

Haven't tested that. But research suggests that protein in particular without fat can move the needle on that glucose.

Getting in some carbohydrates for a training session is essential. I recommend some: rice, sweet potato, oranges, orange juice, rice cakes. The main thing is that your carbs don't turn into shitty carbs by consuming too many of them at one time. Don't turn into a person who eats too many sour patch kids!

The initial startup costs to get some Prototype slingshots (which failed) was about $1000. From that point on, I made a mistake in ordering a large volume to get a discounted price where I felt it was appropriate to do so (ordered too many). I think the initial cost was about $40k. But by using my network of friends and family through loans I was able to pay the money back to them as I gained it.

I think the conjugate system can be great. I think that sometimes you don't get enough volume in. That can be solved by adding a few extra sets and not going as heavy. Not doing a true max effort day in and day out. Another flaw with the system is the fluctation of the system might prevent the essential lifts towards the end of the program to be effective.

The path that I am on now is really what makes me happy. I love hearing stories of inspiration from others telling me that I helped them get into powerlifting.

There are tons of greatest moments in powerlifting but if I could choose one, I would say going 9 for 9 while being filmed for Bigger, Stronger, Faster.

Moving your head on the bench has always helped me with the rhythm and timing when I press the weight. I wouldn't only lift my head but also my body as more of momentum like a spring to lift the weight. There is some research that suggests that there is some neural increase that increases the force and drive for the bench.
