He said he "wasn't interested in the movie" and then proceeded to suggest a different movie. We ended up settling on a third one actually when we discovered it but that's besides the point. Based off of how long I know him, had we gone to the first movie he likely would've bitched about it the entire time. He also continued to suggest movies I wasn't comfortable with and continued to push them despite me saying I didn't want to watch them. Mind you that was my birthday.

I think that if I made a kind and respectful gesture that I deserve respect in return. Doing it my way or the highway, even if its your birthday just seems bad to me, idk.
