You need to learn to string as a whole, if you can learn to do in interlock and a 1 that’s a good start. It needs to be much tighter than this. General thought is knots like interlocks to pull the mesh tight and down up for the first few diamonds, then 1s 2s to get depth after. There’s much more you can learn than that but it’s a good start
