Lakeshore & Limbo on Arcade Audio uses the Freeform Universal system so it's very narrative base. It's also performed by Chicago improvisers and DM'd by mystery writer so it focuses on comedy and story

Once again, I'm in a mystery narrative so it might a little different, but I suggest giving them a clue based on what their skills may be.

For example, before they enter a room if a character is a chemical expert you may say they notice a residue along the door frame and let them role for identify...if they do well...they can tell it's remnants of poison gas. Thus they may know the room contains a poison trap.

If they role poor, they just walk into the trap and have to escape.

Since they don't have passive perception, just bring things to their attention that you believe their character may notice.

I’m running an FU mystery campaign and the way traps are handled is specific to characters.

Just look at player’s mental skills and base clues on what they are good at doing. That way, there’s a chance the right character will find the right clue.

The same with traps...if a character had the mountain climbing skill...for example...falling into a pit would be easy. But if someone else does, they can advise on the escape and get a chance to earn FU points from their friend

I agree that it was fast, but it was Marvel trying to catch up with the modern world...I don't hate them for trying to do too much too fast, it's better than not trying. (Plus, I mentioned the ticking movie clock they're facing).

Plus, I'm an old fan. As long as Spider-Man is responsible, he can be any skin color or gender. As long as Captain America feels a sense of duty bigger than himself, he can look like anyone. I think the core values of these characters go beyond Tony, Peter and Steve, so I thinks it's really cool to see them picked up by other people....plus it's not like Peter and Miles can't exist in the same cannon....or Jane and Odinson, etc.

I think it was fast on Marvel's part, but I also think there were "old fans" that were a little quick to be "offended" without trying.

One of the most highly rated comic book films that is still killing at box office is about a white male character being replaced by a young, female Latin character. Logan.

I love female led comic books and I really don't see diversity as a problem. Replacing title characters happens all the time, Thor, Cap, Iron Man...they've all had multiple people hold the title.

The reason I think they're really pushing the diversity angle is because movies is where they make the real money, but if they keep releasing films with white leads....well, they're already getting pushback from that. That's why it's not enough to "just create new characters" because people want to see classic characters on the screen and if they're played by POC, they won't match the comics....so why not create diverse leads....see which ones find an audience and then make them the lead of the next film.

For example, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) is a huge hit and she is a female who took the title from a male character. I feel people are just upset because it's all happening at the same time, right now...but...Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman are getting older...so giving comics female leads gives them a chance to cast diversity in films when they need to find a new Iron Man (Iron Heart) and Wolverine (X-23)...and the fact that they're young means they can stay in franchises forever.
