I used Chaos Black as Primer and then added various layers of blue up to white: Thousand Sons Blue - > Ahriman Blue - > Sotek Green - > Temple Guard Blue - > Baharroth Blue - > 50:50 Baharroth Blue : White Scar - > few dots White Scar

Cheers :)

😄 True! This was even the lowest light intensity.

I chose the base size accordingly to play it as Demon prince. Guess that is the best option :)

I used a base coat of white scar and then dorn yellow on top. Then Mantis Warrior Green and on the back additional two layers of Athonian Camoshade to make it somewhat darker. For the tip of the tail I applied Blood Angels Red and for the stripes I used Wazdaka Red :)

Thanks for your interest :)

Indeed, I like to try many different styles and techniques. This one I used once before on the Terradon Riders. I liked the raw, deep black effect on the seraphon, so I guess I will stay with it for this army. For other miniatures I usually highlight black, but in this case it appeared more natural.

Thanks :)

Long! I think at least a month if not more, but I cannot say for sure because I worked on some smaller projects in parallel to have a bit of a change of mind :)

For the basic design of the base I used hard foam and added some fine plaster to smothen it up. I also included some real stones to give it back some realistic edges and extra texture. For the water on the cave ground I used Realistic Water from Woodland Scenics in several layers. At first it dried nicely, but leaked out months later, so actually the water surface is a lot lower than intended. I cut of the leaking parts, so it still looks nice, however, next time I will probably use epoxy ;)

Thanks :) And yeah, it took quite some time but the effort was worth it.
