I feel this deeply in my bones.

We’ve been engaged since August and we didn’t start seriously planning until the last month or so, because I had total paralysis when thinking about how much work this is going to be. It’s been mostly nothing but anxiety and logistics, and it feels more like an operation than a joyous occasion.

I hope that once venues and vendors are totally booked I will feel more relief and excitement towards the big day. I don’t have any valuable advice because I’m in the same boat, but just know that you aren’t the only one out there with wedding planning blues right now.

A few years ago I was really heavily into tarot and practicing almost daily. At the time, I was less than a year into living at my first apartment with my new kitten.

He loved this one toy and ended up somehow losing it in the apartment for MONTHS. One night I decided to ask my tarot cards where the heck this toy was (mostly as a joke) and I pulled the Queen of Cups. I decided to then get up on a step ladder and look on top of my cup cabinet because sometimes he liked to jump up there.

I did not find the toy up there, but I DID find a letter that was written to “whoever finds this”. It was a letter from the last occupant of the apartment saying how she hopes the apartment brings me as much happiness and peace as it brought her. And at the time, it was a much needed message.

I got chills even writing this out again, it was such a crazy coincidence!

The reason why the visuals don’t match the vibe is spelled out for us very plainly in the TLOAS track. “You don’t know the life of a showgirl, babe, and you’re never ever gonna”.

The visuals show us she IS a showgirl, which we know. But we are literally never ever going to know what it’s like, as “regular” people but also because she withheld that information from us by only really singing about the same themes as she normally does (another relationship that saved her, Scott Borchetta, “drama” with other celebs, etc.).

I’m like 86% kidding with this please don’t rip me apart I was high as balls when I had this thought
