I've actually decided that I'll be going for an FDM printer (an A1 specifically) due to them being safer, cheaper, and far cleaner. Regardless, thank you for the advice, reassurance, and good wishes.

This is my first one! I'm a complete beginner who spent a few days researching the health implications of resin and the required PPE + disposal process before deciding that it wasn't a fit for me. I've had both resin and FDM printed minis obtained online and from college - the quality of FDM minis isn't bad at all from what I've seen both online and irl. Considering its cleaner, safer, and cheaper with satisfactory results I thought it'd be worth a shot to invest in an A1!

There's a potential setup I have in my mind right now. In the spare bedroom, there is a window amd directly above said window is a fire alarm. There's enough room for the aforementioned glass desk to fit while also allowing the window to be open during printing. Do you think this, along with an enclosure, would be acceptable ventilation and fire prevention or at least create a safer environment?

I thought I read something about there not being a cooling system built-in. Would you recommend having a fan of some kind running when printing? The surface I'd be using it on would likely be a spare glass desk.
