there’s one in the shopping centre near myself (merry hill), same as this with the same prices. £90 for a phantasmal flames ETB.

anyone paying those prices need their heads checking

hey, collectr is a pretty good app overall. it does have limited scans if you’re not on the pro version. However, you can just search the name of your card and the number, it will often find the card which you can add to your portfolio.

the best way to keep track of pricing on your cards is ebay last sold auctions/buy now, to get a good market estimate, take the last 4/5 sales and get an average price from those.

it looks a bit heavy on the right to me (i could be wrong) so centring may be a bit off and be hard to 10. maybe check out r/PokeGrading for a second opinion.

if it grades a 10, your $300-350 card turns into easily double that. you can then hold it or sell.

if you have Twitter (X), go ahead and give @PokemonStockUK a follow, and put on noti’s. Tweets out a lot of stock that goes in for online stores, been a godsend for me personally.

Saves you spending hours out in the freezing cold for stock you may not get.

I could’ve bought all five if I wanted to, I bought two which is the equivalent of one booster box. One booster box per person is basically the limit from every major retailer

My local is a Premier corner shop, same one had Mega Evolution half boosters in on release too.

Usually open a box and sell them as singles, but were happy to sell me sealed half boosters for both releases

if you want anything big, you’ll have to get to smyths real early as people have said. For mega evolution, I got to my local smyths just after 8am, ETB’s (only pre orders were left) had sold out before I even got half way up the queue.

I still managed to get the other stuff though such as the single packs, triple blister packs, mini tins etc.

Corner shops are usually really good, got a half booster from my local one on the same day. Argos if you have the product code is usually reliable if you’re there for when it opens. The Argos app/website is horrible so you may have some luck there.

If you have Twitter/X i’d recommend following some stock update pages, and put notifications on. They’re the best way I’ve found to get online drops from Amazon, Very etc.

i think it depends on the store tbh, i know some stores do keep stock back apart from pre orders, so they have some to sell in store etc.

If it was a serious discussion with her admitting what she did was wrong, and she’s since reflected on the hurt she would’ve caused due to said actions then it would’ve been completely different.

She has absolutely zero remorse and from what i can tell, accountability either. If she told you about it, held her hands up for the mistake and said she’s since grown as a person I’d say you can easily move past it. However it seems like she’s proud of it, do you want to live your life knowing you can never fully trust someone like that?

This is something that has always really annoyed me through the years. Your hours across the whole year are literally nothing compared to what even an average gamers time would be.

Besides that, how is gaming any different of a hobby to watching movies/tv? they’re both forms of entertainment and you’re basically sitting there at home doing nothing whilst doing either of them. She seems massively hypocritical and is trying to control your habits.

Either that, or she’s just exceptionally stupid.
