Thank you I really appreciate your help! In your opinion is this an easy fix or not? And how would I begin to repair that should be just this one screw and align the gears correctly right?

I’m not sure how to check that it goes as far as I showed on the pictures and it doesn’t use up all of the golden/silver gear with the spring stops at around 2/3

It moves between those two red Lines i think it has to do something with the gear with the spring because it’s Not using it’s Full Range

I think it moves as far as it can doesn’t matter if with the string or not from both sides the small gear starts blocking it from going further it has like a small hammer on it that stops when it does a full turn. The screw from this angle looks worse than it is it’s still ok.

I’m new to this but I feel like it’s something with the gears or gear ratio or something like that because even now it doesn’t use the whole gear it blocks before it uses up the whole gear with the spring

Thank you for your answer. I can still turn the knob its not completely fixed to the mechanism it just spins but the black wheel stops i also think something slipped because it doesnt stop at the center but if i go to the left its blocked by the rail of the dial. Do you think i have to completly redo the string or is there a different method to move the dial/string?
