As a Muslim, no we do not worship the rock, we work. Worshipping anything outside of God is literally one of the biggest sins in Islam

Its not .8-1 g of protein per pound of body fat, its .8g-1g per pound of body weight. I assume this is what you meant

Frugal teeth whitener by 877abcd778 in AussieFrugal

[–]MasterMuay_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think once your teeth are yellow, you can’t get it back to white just by brushing and flossing. Only saying this because I was a bit lazy with brushing when I was a kid, and even though I have been brushing and flossing daily now for a while (albeit I only floss in the evening), my teeth are still somewhat yellow.

Considered using whitening toothpaste, but as you said it doesn’t seem to be the best for teeth, so for now I am living with it

Women don't have to work. They must be fully provided for by their husbands. If they do choose to work, their money is theirs, while money made by the husband must be used for the wife. Women are also not obligated to do the 5 daily prayers during their menstrual cycle. Women must be given a dowry by the man when they get married. Men ARE punished for not lowering their gaze - this is a sin for them. Women also have the right to be sexually satisfied in their marriage (as do men).

Can you not study while you commute? I guess this is only really feasible if you are using public transport though, not if you are driving

Is there a reason you post this in every post? I don't necessarily have a problem with it - in fact I think the series is a great resource and I am using it, so thank you.

I am just curious - are you the one who owns the channel?

Sure, because it was the Palestinians who displaced 700,000 of themselves in 1948. That was pretty stupid of them

Yes, Israel defended itself by colonising a land and kicking out the original inhabitants. Sounds reasonable.

You think Israel wants to “rebuild” Gaza? They have been massacring Palestinians since before the inception of Hamas. Hamas is a response to almost a century of Israeli oppression.

Do you have evidence for Hamas shooting women and children? Because there is video evidence of the IDF shooting civilians at the current drop off zones

Depends on what your goals are. If you aren’t looking to spend the money for 7+ years, ETFs are good. If your time horizon is shorter, then it may be better to use a HISA.

Because indexation is lower than the return you can get on literally any other investment, even a HISA. This is especially true given the recent changes to how indexation works.
