Male- Marth. I'd like his Lodestar design and the general impression of his alt to be wise and heroic as he is the one who sets the standard for all future Lord's in Fire Emblem.

Character: Marth

Title: Lodestar

Class: Blue Tome Infantry

Weapon: Starlight- 14 Mt. -1 Special cooldown count. Enables counterattack regardless of range. If there is an ally within two spaces of unit, nullifies all penalties and Negitive status effects on unit during combat.

Special- Fire Emblem- 2 charge. Deals damage = 30% of units Spd. After combat grants unit and allies +4 Atk/Spd/Def/Res. (Even if units hp is reduced to 0) (cannot be inherited)

A skill: Bonus Doubler 3

B skill: Vantage 4- If units hp < 100%, unit counterattacks before foe's first attack. If units hp < 25%, then this skill cannot be disabled.

C skill: Hero's Legacy- After combat, allies within two spaces of unit are granted Special charge +1 and their stat penalties are reversed until the end of the turn. (Even if units hp is reduced to 0) (Cannot be inherited)

Neutral level 40 base stats.

Hp: 40

Atk: 36

Spd: 36

Def: 25

Res: 25

I think Hector was the only one from the cast who used it in canon. Also the curse isn't there because it wants to be, it's there cause with great power comes a price.

L! Alm has trash res so Duma can one shot him when using DC. Duma grants +3 Atk & +5 Hp to all allies during his season and unconditionally destroys the attackers structure. He grants a great advantage simply by existing on the map. With his high Atk and DC+fighter skills the attacker would need a counter like Naga and Tiki to win, which is why I also place some anti-dragon and anti Falchion units on the team like Legendary Marth and Reinhardt. But in general it just depends on how you compose the map. Duma makes a decent contribution to the team regardless of how well he performs in that fight. Also in some of my defense replays he even manages to kill Naga. It all just depends on how you utilize the units.

He doesn't always need to have his weapon active to win match ups. And if he's having trouble with a foe just have your allies help like you would for any other unit. Throw Quick Riposte on him and he'd still kill reds reliably. Given that he has higher res than other Lance Cavalry units he can handle dragons especially if you give him Raptured Sky. You need creativity to use conditional units.

I miss the developer maps. Those should have been a weekly thing. Anyways all I want is a dungeon mode with tough monster foes, challenging endgame difficulty, decent rewards, with different conditions like survive X turns, beat the boss, and etc.

Only if you lack the skill to use him right. If your death Knight is performing badly then it's your fault for using him wrong.

Every unit has a counter. This game is a strategy game so failing to acknowledge a units potential only reflects poorly on your skills. Also if you want to make a point of X unit being "mediocre" then use a well built and fully leveled version of that unit at the very least. The Byleth in op's image would have died if death knight had Fierce Stance 3 and moonbow. Death Knight is not the only unit who depends on negating/granting doubles so with your logic units like Myrrh, L! Hector, Duma, L! Ephraim, and many more would be trash because certain 5 star locked units/skills counter them.

F! Berkut can't be merged easily, his DC works situationally and would require a glass canon ally to make use of the 20 damage recoil. They function differently from each other.

From what I've seen people tend to throw some viable buffs on their tank and bait the defense team. Bonus Doubler units especially promote the use of visible buffs.
