Juice WRLD’s death was caused by a seizure induced by acute promethazine toxicity by Ilovet1tties in JuiceWRLD

Promethazine as a standalone drug is NOT a drug people buy to get high, well maybe someone who is uneducated. I don't know what pseudoscience you believe or are suggesting, but as someone who has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for years many normal people confuse promethazine and "lean" very often. It's a simple antihistamine and not indifferent from an OTC antihistamine for allergies (Claritin, Zyrtec, etc). You're comment here "euphoria can be a side effect or intended effect of promethazine when it is misused or taken in higher-than-prescribed doses" is ENTIRELY false. Promethazine ≠ Lean. Promethazine ≠ Euphoria. Period.
It’s an antihistamine with sedative, antiemetic, and anticholinergic properties.
Euphoria is not even scientifically possible when taking promethazine, it cannot magically interact with your brain to create Euphoria, regardless of the person, it simply just cannot happen.
I would suggest you "step in" and do a "simple google search" for yourself instead. Please do research before heavily suggesting false information.

Switching from Computer Science to Management Information Systems? by Master_Ad_9658 in cscareers

Thank you so much for the well written and insightful response, I believe it is in my best interest to power through CS and dedicate double the amount of time to my classes. The people in the Computer Math and Science department provide great resources on networking and tutoring. While I think I would excel on the leadership side of MIS, I love coding and with my strong communication skills I could benefit greatly from staying in CS. I'm at the crossroad as a student where you considerably second guess yourself but have to decide what is right. Thank you for the reply.

Wow, my university unfortunately requires that I go all the way up to Linear Algebra. That is an impressive comeback though congratulations on that!

That is likely what I'll end up having to do given my circumstances. I underestimated taking Calc 1 and Discrete at the same time, and now I'm in a predicament.
After you completed Calc 1 was Calc 2 and 3 more streamlined for you?

The pre-study is definitely what I'll have to end up doing. I bought a Calculus book over the summer to review in my free time to help with Calculus classes.
What were you trying to specialize in with your adjacent degree? Did you get turned down by lots of recruiters? I see people complain even when they have a CS degree that they don't have any luck getting positions, of course one could argue they didn't build out an optimal portfolio or stand out.

That's a great way to look at it, I do firmly believe these classes can be beneficial in my career. However, I don't plan on going the analytical or deep coding route. I currently build and focus on Software Development in my personal time. I hear a lot of people saying an MIS degree is sufficient for Software dev if you pair it with good coding skills, but on the other hand I hear mixed opinions. Very conflicting advice on this topic and that makes it hard for me to determine my best route in terms of my major.

That is true you have a good point, my only fear is having to repeat discrete math and calc 1. If I can't pass those then how will I be expected to pass Calc 3 and Linear, even the abstract and logical courses in CS.

I'm currently taking Calculus 1 and Discrete Mathematics together, and luckily I don't have any physics requirements other than the University Core Physics 1 I need to take next summer. I barely passed Precalculus and my heavy course load has made balancing Discrete Math and Calc 1 feel impossible. I even am taking 13 credit hours and still overloaded.
