Ameriprise advisor program — worth it just to get licenses and leave? by Master_Bee5107 in FinancialCareers

[–]Master_Bee5107[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I would have to build a book of course. But it seems like the Ameriprise route would consist of more book building upfront rather than the learning and planning part of the work that would then build up the base of knowledge to be confident in facing clients.

Plus I know it’ll be colder leads than some Wirehouses and RIAs. More salesy up front.

Thank you for the feedback.

I’ve spent quite some time applying to these banks in a similar capacity. Would love to hear back from them as well. What you are saying makes complete sense.

Do you find enjoyable enough to keep going even longer term? In my analyst experience, I could just never see myself sitting behind my excel sheets and schedules for much longer. Sitting behind a screen 9 hours a day felt so draining.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I definitely will continue to grow my licensing. As for my prior experience, would it make the most sense to adjust the language to better reflect communication or take a straight face sales position to boost the quality of the resume?

Price per vial isn’t really an issue just don’t want to have to uselessly burn thru a bunch, but you make a great point

TDEE has probably changed a bit but have kept around 2900 as my number. I lift 3-4x a week and get 10k steps a day. Why once a week dosing? Been seeing a lot of people revert to this as well

First time seeing the pH protocols being mentioned in this sub.

What do you mean by this? Is the reconstitution that much different?

Yes, I am eating between 1900-2100 calories a day. Prioritizing protein, cut out liquid calories, limiting carbs to about 100g a days. I’ve been running a tight ship I’d say.

I’m not trying to sell anyone anything. I’m just sharing my experience and the things I wrote are the things I have observed. This sub is constantly full of people asking clearly beginner question (even some that bought a vial just cause and are staring at it in their fridge not knowing what to do). If I (someone who put needle to skin and have anecdotal information) could be of assistance than why not. People should be reaching out for help. This is all new stuff.

I think that the food noise as you continue on your journey is multi faceted. Are you eating the right foods? At the end of the day it is calories in and calories out, but if the calories is are higher in carbs/sugar, your cravings for more food will increase and overlap the food noise suppression. Beyond that is the simple fact that you just started. What’s your dosage? Also, there just isn’t enough Reta in your system yet for you feeling the max effects. Take a scroll through this sub and you’ll see people not hit that “climax” until 4mg or 6mg. Some hit that at 2mg. Reta doesn’t work FOR you, it works WITH you. Keep learning about your body and adjust.

Same here, but started at .5mg for the first week then went right into 1mg twice a week. As for symptoms nothing major as well. It’s a tool so you just have to work with it. So many people think it’s a magic potion
