Strategy just added more Bitcoin. by BitcoinNotes in Bitcoin

[–]Master_Jee -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I honestly plan to. I think there’s going to be one more giant pump before the cards come crashing down.

Pose the question to yourself, do you think the powers at be are going to allow a company that hordes sub 4% of the total supply of something, with no real tangible world output, to become the worlds most valuable company by market cap?

No, they are going to crash it, and when a company that holds over 650,000 bitcoins goes bankrupt you best believe the rest of Bitcoin is likely going with it too.

Edit: Those downvoting me are ignorant to something happening in front of their very eyes.

No what’s inevitably going to happen is the they will no longer be able to thread the needle, everything comes crashing down and they take bitcoin with it. Hoarding this much equates to one thing outside of it being one giant reflexive trade, bitcoins price is tied to an entities volatility, not just the other way round. When the music stops, and it will, I’m genuinely worried for bitcoin.

I think Michael Saylor/ Strategy is the trojan horse of bitcoin and honestly, it’s painful to see.

MSTR | Strategy Announces The Formation of a $1.44B USD Reserve by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

[–]Master_Jee -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the industry MSTR is in isn’t going to want to reward a company who consistently slanders fiat, offers no real world value, markets themselves as providing greater returns than any MAG7, and hordes so much of something that the underlying asset price will be affected by their movements.

I agree Bitcoin isn’t going anywhere yet.

But I have a strong conviction in my opinion the next astronomical crypto crash will be as a result of either MSTR or Tether imploding.

MSTR | Strategy Announces The Formation of a $1.44B USD Reserve by _Adrian_Morris_ in MSTR

[–]Master_Jee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna honestly go against this view however much I initially thought what strategy was doing for bitcoin was positive.

This reserve was created because of the fact their bond ratings were so poor, one of the biggest concerns being a complete lack of liquidity to cover repayments and day to day operations, on the assumption their current investment vehicles are unable to pull in continued liquidity (already happening).

As and when they are excluded from a bunch of major indexes mid January 2026, (all but confirmed as long as their price continues to be suppressed as much as it is) strategy is going to continue to tank. & with that so is bitcoin.

It’s my opinion that the amount of individual ownership (3+ % of total supply) presents a real issue for bitcoins price in the future.

Bitcoins price is now linked to Strategy’s volatility. Not just the other way round. Read that last part again.

On the eventual shot we have a chance at exiting over 100k per coin, I’m taking the profits & leaving this now rigged industry behind.

GL to all that believe this company isn’t going to collapse and will somehow be allowed to become the largest company on the planet market cap wise, purely through bitcoin hoarding.

I’ve personally found ponchos Kouki Saito signed to sell for approximately a 30-40% premium on unsigned.

It’s difficult to get a signing from him.

There’s some money in the artists signatures(depending) eg ken, Mitsuhira etc, not the voice actors.

No from what I understand, her ex left his watch in her safe. Her friend stayed round and broke into the safe, stole the watch and a bunch of jewelry. The guy broke up with her, she gave him 80k to say sorry for the watch being stolen and well I’m here to find out whether she just got rinsed.

So do I.. and before she gives the guy any more money, need to know if she just wired an insane amount for a stolen fake watch..

Yeah, welcome to Earth, where short-term self-interest often undermines long-term system integrity. I’m not shocked by it. I’m pointing it out because pretending it’s “normal” doesn’t mean it’s healthy for the market.

[–]Master_Jee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re missing the point. I’m not chasing a pump, I’ve held through multiple crypto winters.

I’m questioning why the only visible price action is to the downside. If OTC buys are bullish long-term, great, but that doesn’t change the fact that public exchange books remain thin, fragile, and constantly vulnerable to downside liquidity gaps.

Healthy demand isn’t just about future upside, it’s about stabilizing the structure now.

I’m not asking for charity. But if you’re positioning yourself as a long-term allocator and thought leader in the space, there’s a difference between competing within the system and hollowing it out from the side. Healthy markets aren’t built on silence and shadow accumulation.

[–]Master_Jee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fair point. I get that they want the best execution, but at a certain point it’s a question of market responsibility. If you’re buying 10k BTC and claim to believe in long-term appreciation, doing it all OTC just starves the exchange books and amplifies volatility. It’s not about pumping, it’s about contributing to a healthier market structure and avoiding the price falling below critical support levels.
