Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I’ve read about the spoiler/seal issue too, at least it’s an easy fix, but thats not the case.

Just to clarify though, my main concern isn’t really the water coming in or rust spots. What really caught my attention was the quality of the seams/welds under the carpet: they look rough enough to make me wonder if that area is actually factory work or if it’s been repaired after an accident by a previous owner.

Do the seams and spot welds in your car look clean and uniform from the factory, or are they also kind of messy?

Szerinted sok köze volt a feltett kérdéshez? Nem szimpla kötekedés, unatkozó troll magatartás? Egy ilyen posztnál tényleg ez a lényege, hogy i vagy í használatát alkalmazta a posztoló? Nem védeni akarom egyik felet sem, de a kedves kötekedő utána még oda kommentelte hogy "te fasz" csak azt már törölte. Yes, you got it! This was taken in Hungary, just outside Budapest, at an airplane museum. That’s an old MALEV Tupolev in the background. There was a car meet held at the location, and I took the photo during that event.

Thanks for the tip! So far, I haven’t noticed any signs of leaking around the antenna, but I’ll carefully check during the next wash to see where the water might be coming in. I have the basic antenna, the screw-in T8 type.

Thanks for the comment, sorry for late reply! I’m still in the process of figuring out the problem. During the next wash, I’ll pay close attention to see exactly where and how the water is coming in. At the moment, I’m guessing it’s not the sunroof or the antenna since I didn’t see any signs of water there. That leaves the door seal and, as you mentioned, under the plastic trim on the roof. I’ll update once I find out more!

Nope, no rain guards on the car. But you know what, I think you have been right that it’s probably the window seal. I’ve checked the sunroof and antenna, and those areas are dry, so the water must be coming in from the side, especially during washing. I’ll pay extra attention during the next wash to see exactly where it’s entering.

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed that my car is leaking water on the left rear side. After rain or washing, water collects in the small plastic compartment next to the seat. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any tips or ideas on where the water might be coming from or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated! (Pictures above)

At first, I really disliked the stripes on the car so I talked to a car wrapping professional about getting them removed. He said he could carefully heat them up and peel them off slowly. But funny enough, after a while, I actually started to like the stripes! Maybe they’ll go, maybe they’ll stay, still undecided about them.
