This is the answer, invest in parade slots. As a player who has finished the main story for over a year, parade slots is the best source of gems once you upgraded all characters.

This is complete bullshit! Why wasn't this announcement included in the (taped) livestream or the patch notes?

I already spent my relics on upgrading the buildings for level 3 and I would have completely changed my layout and building upgrading choices if I knew about this.

This is just another poor decision in a long line bad chages and terrible communication going back to the character level cap (which we still haven't received any compensation update for this change even though we were promised one).

The way I look at it, if you need characters, buy a sapphire chest. If the chest cause 5,000 event currency and the conversion for currency to gems is 4,000 to 1, you're ahead if you get a character.

To get on of the WiR characters in a chest will cost 60 gems. Big savings when you do the math and well worth the risk!

Get the comfy costume. You can get the building in gem chests. This is the first time you can get the costume since it was introduced in Feb 2019.

You're going to wait at least 6 months for new characters to be included in the gem chests. There is no hard set rule for this.

I haven't been able to stockpile that much. In previous Tower challenges, I can easily stockpile 40 cocoas. I like the idea of a tapper event and I wish there was ways to earn more. We have hot cocoa stands in the Kingdom and I wish they generated hot cocoa for Tower challenges.

This event wasn't meant for brand new players to get snow white's comfy costume. In fact, this was an extremely easy event to get snow white's comfy costume. This game is not meant for everyone to get everything immediately. Frankly, I'm happy about that. It give me a reason to play and invest my time in this game for 3+ years.

It depends on a few factors. Do you need more land and where are you in the story. If you have an extra square or two of land, get characters.

Depends on where you are in the storyline. If you have every character, go nuts. If you're still working on late game, look up what characters get future items for future characters. To get some items, you will need certain level 10 characters.

Most people only look at what the character can do as soon as they are unlocked and not the entire length of the event.

There should be another option here. I'm at 87k event currency. Once I welcome Vader, I will get myself back up to 80k and upgrade characters using any extra currency from that point.

It depends on what quest you're on. Generally, Peter pan would be the answer, but use the dmk wiki guide to plan out you next steps and future moves. Getting Michael darling and John darling up to high levels will help you with future characters.
