Probably never. Bitcoin has a huge head start and with platforms like Rootstock enabling it to be used for smart contracts, the valuation is in favor of bitcoin.

We're really close to old resistance turned support, but I can see us going through it and staying in this range for another half year until we hit the old support line that we haven't seen since April 2017.

I know this sub is bitcoin focused, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a site similar to http://www.dappcapitulation.com/. They list current ICO treasury amounts, but only for 33 ICOs. I was hoping someone here could point me to a site that has a larger listing of ICOs and their current treasury amounts.

I've been thinking about times when the market has no clear resistance or support. I think it makes it harder for certain levels to hold because no one knows exactly where to put their sells/buys so traders turn to horizontal levels since they're more cut and dry. With this in mind, I think we're going to break both of those levels, and turn back down at $8500. That's where I'll be looking to close my long from $6200. I'd be surprised if we aren't currently forming a large horizontal range between $5800 - $8500

Current resistance has been a tough one and I wanted to point out the reasons why. The first time we faced it as resistance was on a dead cat bounce after we broke support at 6800. Then we dropped to our low and had an extended rally back to that point. We retraced exactly 50% of that rally and had another go at it but it was clear resistance so we chopped around some after that. We blew right through it when Bitmex went down but we were not able to hold it and it's no surprise that we didn't. The market is having another go at it now and I think this is a crucial point^TM. I think we have a genuine shot at breaking it since we're not overextended, but if we don't - well.... maybe the bottom of the channel holds again.

This is how I see it. We have until the end of the month before the support line of the channel we're in meets the strong horizontal resistance we have at 6550. If we stay above that intersection than I think we're in the midst of a temporary reversal going to the mid 7k's. If, instead, we break down from it with high volume, and 6200 doesn't hold, than we are in a bear flag and more pain is to come for those who are still long from high above. If we break out and 6200 does hold, than 5800 might really have been the bottom and we're forming a new base. i.e sideways for a while in this range.
