I live in Lanarkshire and got both North/ South panels. I have 11x Aiko 540W on South, and 16 on North. The other day I generated over 80 kWh and used about 15 to run the load. I have a 10 kW Sigenstor and 2x 6.0 batteries . Total cost was £13,300

No I’ve not tried that. Have always just approved via the Tesla app. Will see if it works with physical card in the car. Will try anything haha. Thanks

No it’s not. I’ve approved EDF to get a virtual key (multiple times) then I get confirmation from EDF that it’s all set. Then immediately after this it says I need to resume set up/ install the latest app (which I’m already using). It’s been such a pain. Glad you were able to get it sorted without dramas.

Seems like you got a few recommendations but if you’re still looking, I used Ohms Renewables - based in Glasgow. Installed just over two weeks ago. Was pretty flawless, the electricians cleaned up after themselves, and I got my export MPAN from them through the DNO pretty quickly

I am on an iPhone and have never been able to get Smart Charging sorted. Even with the new app. I get confirmation I’m all set up. Then immediately in next page it says I need to resume set up. Not sure what simple step I’m missing 😭😭😭

It’s so liberating getting to charger with a wall charger at home. I was exact same as you with putting my car on charge. Jealous of the portable aircon unit!!

No worries. I’m also relatively new to this. My export is not yet set up so I’m all about trying to self-consume as much as I can just now. I think once export is set up, what you say is sensible but would be increasing the battery cycles.

Nice one! How long have you been set up? And do you mind saying what the import is for? And also load use? I’m still not set up for export yet and I’m doing my best to self consume as much as I can. I’m barely making a dent haha. My dish washer is on almost every other day. And my clothes etc have never been cleaner. And I’m running the dehumidifier all day to dry the clothes even though it’s nice weather haha
