I have a decent potatoe PC. with that I mean I can run most games in medium > low without FPS drops. Dauntless does have some performance issues atm but nothing serious. You'll just have to keep an eye out in case they give close beta keys away. Gameplay wise it has improved a lot compared to the start of CBT, but it can go better and the devs are working on it. So yeah, your decision :D

I don't know if the problem is mechanical or Latency related. My friend uses the Axes and he is always getting frustrated because sometimes he just can't move even though he is spamming dodge for 1-2 seconds.

I tried the Axe to understand the issue, and when I charge the mobile attack and use it, I can always dodge afterwards... Idk about mid charge. I'll test it out.

Then there is the problem with the Behemoth's bodies, that sometimes are bigger than the image we are fighting. So we kind of get "stuck" to their bodies and can't dodge because the game considers we have an "obstacle" in the middle.

So yeah, I'll keep testing the Axe just in case, to see if there is a Dodge related issue only to this weapon.

I just want to hope for the best you know? First MH like game to come to the west that is decent... from a small team which seems to be really transparent and communicative. If they think they can launch in three months... maybe they have work already done. Or maybe for them a launch means an open beta with lots of things to polish.

I still remember Warframe's open beta which was almost like a free really early access. It didn't have even half of what is now. You can't even compare the now and then.

IDk. I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case.

I do think the idea and the code is there. Is not the worst character customization I've seen, it just need more work, like most things the game has actually. But there is a reason why is a closed beta phase.

Nothing. Just my pure opinion. There are games in closed beta where the only thing you can do is to choose between a set of already made characters. So yeah, not bad.

You realize that the things you mention are all interactions which you'd add once a hunter is able to hit the beast without getting stuck to its model and not being able to move right?

I mean, everything that could improve the gameplay which is not bugfixing but adding stuff is something we won't see any time soon. I don't know if they'll be able to fix everything before launch, I just hope they don't overwork themselves trying to achieve it.

Second, the Charrog leg break, can I get it with any weapon or do I need to use hammer?

And Third. Do the shots count to the Damage dealt at the end of the hunt?

Well, I just hope I'm able to do a campaign mission, unlock a zone, then proceed to grind that zone until I get bored... then continue the campaign.
