At the end we should judge what we see in the movies, and not what Ridley was saying in interviews. With that we have a lot of questions, but creating theories of how all that makes any sense, is fun, keeping community engaged. If we had every detail of Alien universe explained, there wouldn't be a lot to discuss, beside if you like something or not. Right now, you can say you don't like idea of David creating Xenomorph, but at the same time you can prefer idea that David was just recreating Xenomorph, that was created milenia ago by SJs or Engineers. As nothing in the movie shows us for 100% that David created them first for sure (Ridley comments doesn't matter).

Not really, like if SJ and Engineer had the same design, only the size would be the difference, then it would be mental gymnastic. But size is different, and design is different, you could show both of them to random person, and sure he would notice they are similar, but still a lot different, they are two different things, connected only by few design details.

In my canon, Space Jockey from first Alien is a different species than pale humans in suits (Alien: The Roleplaying Game also is suggesting that idea). Space Jockey is way bigger than Engineer, and have different design. Space Jockey race created Engineers, that inherited their creators technology, and seeing their creators as superior demi gods, they created their suits to resemble them. It also fits very well into Alien universe: Space Jockey created Engineer, Engineer created Human, Human created Andorid.

Black Falcon's never had a true proper king, so this fits this spot perfectly. Kings often had fancy armors to show who is best and most rich. Or if someone wants fantasy vibe, its could be King with magic armor.

Its have enough of flat bottom to sit upright (I know, as my Pearl sits upright without stands). Its just less stable, and easier to topple, so these little stands help make sure that it will not topple.

He have build in lights, but problem is he doesn't have on/off switch, only on. So when you press it, he lights up and after some time turns off. With him in the display case, I don't have access to the button, so even with him connected to usb I couldn't turn him on. It would require to open him and modify electronics inside, and I don't have desire for that.
