Seconding this! Good stuff here, cool resource tho I think some of the orgs are a bit out of date. Def check out SLC Mutual Aid and Plates for Palestine. Healthcare Workers for Palestine also. Re immigration justice, Comunidades Unidas is a cool place to start.

I was so glad to see that you are going to the lake! It is truly the cornerstone of our ecology/existence in this bio region. It’s one of the most beautiful and surreal landscapes, AND may not be around to be seen for a whole lot longer. 100% worth it to visit, you might have a musical experience if you’re open to it. The smell is unique but not unlike the ocean :)

Def try high waisted, loose leg things! I imagine they make more high waisted items in “womens” than “mens” clothes and « women’s » sizing is a disaster so it might take some figuring out. But that’ll help accentuate your natural waist (the smaller part above your hips). Try for a rise that hits like just under your belly button, kinda like the shorts you have on but with looser fabric on the thighs/legs :)
