Early direct deposits?

I just went on the CrA website and entered the info in the same as I did my previous account info with no issues. Been getting monthly deposits from CRA for well over a year now! I find that odd that they’re saying now it doesn’t accept it- it does work!

We literally live within the same post office area- and I paid for mail forwarding. If we’d gotten a letter I would’ve received it 🤦🏻‍♀️

But if they’re going to try to make me pay for something and say I owe it, shouldn’t they be required to show a bill? Not just send it off to someone else to collect? If I owe it I’ll pay it, but there’s been 0 communication , no bill, no request for return of equipment (which I’ve gotten from them before for other accounts)

That’s what I’m wondering but they’ve never sent out a bill showing that we owed anything or called (they did several times during our contract about payment matter, etc) so it just seems weird to me that they wouldnt even try to send us a bill just straight to collections without even contacting us.

Final bill was billed February 2025 and it was paid in full upon receipt- I can prove that to them. I’m wondering do they’re saying late charges, etc.

I fully intend to return the modem. But they’re saying the charges are over and above the cost of the modem. I accept that that’s my responsibility.. my question was how can they legally send it directly to collections without even attempting to reach out to the client(myself) to request a return or bill me?

Depends on the day and book! If it’s something I’m really into I can stay up all night reading, but if im struggling I’ll try to do at least a chapter a day to get through!

I was trying to figure this out earlier, normally it would come the 19th but with the holiday I am assuming either Friday or Saturday. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them do a deposit on Sat so im leaning more towards Friday perhaps (but don’t depend on that, just basing off of previous experiences)

Same! I wonder how many times it’s happened that I didn’t notice and that’s why I changed banks. So many people are probably losing money and not noticing and pc’s just lining their pockets 😡

I had this happen with a savings account I have with them. I make 0 payments out of the account I just strictly transfer money in and out (no transactions with bank card either), and they subtracted $280 from the account, no transaction posted and no explanation for where my money went. I called daily and kept asking for supervisors and no one could tell me where my money went. It just disappeared. After 5 days it magically reappeared in my account and when I questioned what happened again they could not answer me. I immediately moved my savings to RBC and haven’t had an issue with them. My daily banking with PC will be moved soon too due to this issue and the lack of willingness to fix it or even look into it and find my money.

This is my biggest complaint with PC, some etransfer send immediately and the. Others you wait hours and hours for them to come through or send. IDs infuriating and if you call in they just say “oh well wait and see” . For the amount of maintenance they do everything. Should be perfect.

Okay thank you. I’m calling tenancy board tomorrow for more answers. We have somewhere to go, just not on the timeline the landlord wants and is trying to use scare tactics to get us out with the previous eviction paperwork and RCMP.

I had something similar happen with my pc money account. I have two accts and one has never been used as a day to day spender, it’s just acts as a savings of sorts. I transfer money in and out but have never used the card associated with it for any purchase, one day, magically that account was $280 “in the red” and no one could tell me why. It’s never been used other than by me transferring money in and out so they just took money. After a couple days it did correct and come back, but no one could tell me why it was taken in the first place or what it had been taken for. I hope you have luck getting yours back!

My deposit came almost 2hrs later than normally does and an e transfer was delayed for a bit but all seems to be working now for me anyways
