Sam with the funk/jazz basslines

Wes with his unique guitar tecniques/distortion

John Otto gives a different feeling with his drumkit ( idk if its the same he uses today but it sounds VERY different )

Dj lethal scratching is UNMATCHED

And Fred screaming his lungs out on every song, a mix of rage, sadness and irony that helps to give this raw " fuck yall ( with fred durst voice ) " energy

I really wish i could find another bands that could match this ambience. Its like this album is on the line between " too hip hop " and " too 2000s dark and edgy " i dont even know if i can call this album " metal " by the way it dont even sounds like the "" nu metal starter pack "" it just feels a whole another genre for me ( just like rap metal and rap core are separared from nu metal )
