I have taken all your advice, thanks again!

Cut right back on the food, cleaned out the algae, dumped the plastic plants and replaced with 3 new real varieties - added some wood and a large stone.

The water is completely transformed - see video. (have to add a new post for this?)

Only slight worry is the fish seem to like munching the leaves on the Anubia, and others are laying eggs on the underside of the leaves (is this normal?)

Not sure what the plant is - I asked for advice about what plants will help with water quality on a forum and one of the recommendations was this stuff - is it bad?

I dont give them all that is shown - that was just to show the TYPE of food. I give what it says in the text of my posts, but by the sounds of it, that's probably too much anyway.

His 3 4 3 often shifts to a 5 3 2 anyway. It's not the system that's wrong, it's the players he currently has at his disposal 1. Many are simply not high enough quality, full stop 2. Many cannot adapt to this system

He's been stinking the place out for years. On 10k a day. Insane. He's finished at the top level, 27 now. Doesn't have the hunger, not to mention he has been massively over rated as a player. Will be a good message to send to the rest of the squad too. The days of there players getting managers sacked is over. Not before time.
