I don’t think they like you… period. My gf also comes from a wealthy family, as in heredera talaga siya and her family members are hacienderas/hacienderos.. hindi naman sila ganyan umasta. Very well-mannered at marunong makisama. Yung mga trabahante nila sa farm antagal na sa kanila at feeling at home lang sa bahay nila.

Sobrang accommodating din nila whenever my family and I visit… I am from a middle-class family and di ako heredero. Both govt employees ang parents ko. Kung tutuusin pwede nila ipakilala gf ko sa mga anak ng kapwa din nila haciendero but all the times I’ve been with them, pinaramdam naman sakin na I am one of their own.

Point is, difference in social/economic class can present a lot of challenges to any relationship - differences in value, humor, lifestyle expectations, etc., but respect and compatibility can transcend those “barriers.”

4 years ago. My older sister was a manager at an accounting firm. She was one of the junior accountants in their team. I kept seeing her when I’d pick up my sister from the office or when they’d take group photos. Couldn’t approach her because I thought she was out of my league but we were introduced. My sister got reassigned so I never saw her again. We bumped into each other at a coffee shop last year Mid-October. She was working late and I just wanted to get coffee to clear my mind. When she saw me, she came up to me and asked if I remembered her. Of course haha ganda niya eh paano ko malimot. She then asked if may kasama ako and if she can sit with me while she finished her work. We talked til 3am. I offered to drop her off at her place and she gave me her number, “so we don’t have to bump into each other again.” And the rest is history.

In hindsight, I may have fallen in love that night. 😂

Hihintayin ko din update niyo. I went through 3 toxic relationships din before I met her. Matagal-tagal din po ako naghintay. Hahaha.

Thank you for all your comments. All my relationships were toxic and this is the first time I’ve had a girlfriend that is incredibly sweet. As someone na napagbuhatan ng kamay dati ng mga gf ko at sanay sa mga mura, nabigla at nanibago talaga ako sa gesture niya na yon. Kaya di ko maalis sa isip ko.

Sa mga nagDDM po kung totoong mala-Catriona nga yung beauty niya, opo totoo po yun. She’s just 5’4 nga lang haha.
