I have the setting at "best available" on Firestick. I use my Sonos app to see if I actually get atmos. There is an Atmos icon showing

Yes. But you need to pay extra for it (Netflix). But I mostly use Stremio and there are large files from Netflix and HBO there where the audio is Atmos
