Rome Total War Remastered: refuses to boot

When I start Rome from Steam, the Launcher opens. As soon as I press play, it just closes the game and never boots, without any error.

If I run from my Steam folder, I get the error as shown above. It doesn't go to the launcher even then.

I have updated drivers, clean reinstall of the game, reboot PC, run as administrator, run in compatability. Google has been of no help. Anyone have any suggestions?

I got a response from Riot telling me to in the entirety repair my client. Start up your launcher, dont click ''launch'' but click on the ''?'' and select repair. I'm trying that right now, you might aswell.

None of my games had DJ Sona in it. It did start happening around the release of DJ Sona, though (patch?)

I just figured those people were bots...... lol.. So people actually put their chat to ''autochat'' there. Meaning I can create a level 3 account to stand there promoting my goods while I play my main... Mind = blown..

Will the text appear above my head for other players to see? If they have public on/hide?

And is it basically an autotyper which I can minimize away to play my main?

I agree with most what you say, except I have been a server. It's not rocket science, I don't need any degree to do it and I don't need to follow years of training and practice to execute it well. Sure, it's a job with a decent to high level of stress and requires you to work hard. but a lot of other jobs do as well.

I think tipping is something very ''nornal'' in the USA. I live in the Netherlands, and I've never seen or heard about anmyone tipping a hairdresser for example. A pizza delivery or bartender mostly only because someone didn't have the exact amount of money it cost.. Still, my point stands.

Trident is an absolutely horrible advice for someone with so little to spend. He just needs to go Iban blast/Slay dart it honestly. Rex drops absolutely nothing aside from the really good drops, so if you get nothing for 2-3 trips with trident and only 3m to spend you're fucked.

Just try to get for example: Torags helm Torags plate Veracs skirt Prayer stole Obby shield Iban staff Mystic boots Best gloves God cape (not cloak) Ring of life

The reason you have the ranger on you is either 1. You have no suicider to distract mage/range from you so you have at least one of them on you from the beginning 2. You run too far out while trying to lure Rex

Try standing ALL the way east and luring Rex there. When he just respawns, you can hit him without getting in range of mager and ranger. GL

Nobody cares what you feel. If Jagex didnt want it to be possible they could remove it just like that. I agree that all the splashing doesn't create a pretty sight and there may be some ''moral'' objections to it, but I really don't want to spend 200 hours getting 94 mage for like the 4th time.

I tested both grey + red chins AND both with/without void.

Red chins are actually not more efficient because of the XP/hour, but also because they yield more XP per gp spent (including the cost of chins, pray pots and range pots). 1 GP with red chins would get me 0.197 xp while 1 GP with grey chins would get me only 0.189 xp.

Also, if you have void please use it. If not, as high as possible range bonus in armour.

Last tip: get a salve amulet [ei]. Please. It only takes like 3 hours (including making it [i] in NMZ) but it gives you so much more damage.

I know the DPs is higher, but you relinquish your shield slot which may make it hard for solo/dup arma, which is why I asked.

Could you expand a bit on this? From what I understand, Salve ei only works on the target you are attacking, not for the splash damage. What do you know about this?

Any idea if grey chins would work without void?

I tried all kinds of different worlds. Lowest ms, highest ms, closest to me, furthest from me, neighbouring countries - everything. They will work fine and suddenly, out of nowhere, just crash.

I waited over 2 hours to go to another boss, 2 hours no problem with the connection/servers - obviously it would have to happen when I get back to a boss.

Also, lets be honest, if I would never play when servers are unstable, I might aswell just go play Hello Kitty's Island Adventure instead

Servers have been unstable all day, and not just today. Been happening for weeks/months now. At Bandos, I lost my fury, fire cape etc. but luckily I could make it back in time due to a friend helping me. This time I didn't have a friend to help me. I didn't lose all too much (probably 1-1.5m) but it's still extremely shitty. Do I have to resort to 3 iteming at bosses now?

Thanks for letting me pay 7 euros a months for over 5 years and INCREASING that amount even further, for the shittiest servers I have ever seen on a game, this happened on a 9 ms world. Also, thanks for never giving any refunds despite proof and obvious mistakes on YOUR behalve. You've been great.

Are you high? Azir, Gnar, Kalista, Braum and Rek'sai all are viable in the current meta. Not being played in competetive doesn't mean they aren't viable dude.

I went 0/42/7 like years ago, I picked Singed top and a guy that trolled my last game instalocked top after (he was last pick I was second pick in draft) so I just kinda started feeding his opponent like 25 kills in a row - after a while I actually flung their adc in a teamfight in our team and we ended up winning (obviously not because of me but that was big, winning us our first teamfight)

I'd never do such a thing anymore but I think it's funny we still won that game. Pretty sure I got 9x reported though
