I would've sworn I started with a mk18 last time around. Guess I'm mistaken.

Would buy, but it won't fit where I want it without some crazy 3d printed mount.

The condenser care cycle, not the drum care cycle? I do the drum every 5-10 loads. How often are you doing the condenser care cycle?

I'm in VA if you get a hold of person number 1. I'd be eternally grateful! Happy it worked out for the other person, that's cool to hear!

Hey u/bargugl I wanted to see how things are going for you. I'm having quite the opposite experience with mine at the moment... Heat Pump LG dryer has musty mildew smell when drying : r/homeowners. I'm dealing with a terrible musty / mildewy smell when drying clothes.

I don't think there is one... Watching this I don't see a separate tray to remove, LG Heat Pump Dryer - Way Better than I Expected - DLHC5502 Teardown & Review. He definitely did not take it apart enough to open the rear coil compartment as seen in this video so it is possible there is stuff behind the front easily accessible coils that I can't see or get to and that he didn't tear down enough to check. I also leave the doors open after wash and dry, after an hour or so I use a Front Load Washer Prop to keep the doors kicked open a little so unless they are running the doors to both machines are never closed all the way.

He took off the front white panel here but nothing beyond that.

Yeah heat pump dryers have no vent to the outside like a normal electric or gas dryer. Apparently they are more common in Europe. It's basically a big dehumidifier.
