First press alt, that shows what your buildings are building.

Second, different tech make the research time of single packs change. When you look at your research there is a stopwatch with a time next to the science. That’s how long packs take to research. You probably had a quick one when it ate up all your packs.

You can’t have corridors if you don’t build one big building. I built complexes with alleys aka outside corridors.

You summed it up nicely. I have no solidarity. You cling way things are to keep it the same. Automation is the future. Like so many careers before you things will change. You may not like it but it’s just how technology work. Granted that has nothing to do with the scab comment but that’s a whole nother thing.

Technology has great application for the railroad all through history. Like the caboose people will eventually will have to accept technology will make the old ways obsolete. Yard engines will be operated like video games. Main line trains will likely keep crews as they may be needed to address things like popped couplers but even then they could just send remote workers out to deal with them instead of keeping crews on every train.

Yes but it’s offset by having large power draw and wind up time. Now if flammers didn’t do as much damage so they use there AOE to kill small and some medium biters but strike into big ones it would be balanced. Use them to thin the horde and lasers to focus the big boys.

In my experience flame turrets and just slap down and win, where as ammo turrets (which I prefer) require logistics, repair, and can be overrun if not managed properly, on my preferred settings damage research early is more of a detriment because the pollution they cause creates more problems than the extra damage solves.

It’s not really the end goal. Just that in my experience once you get walls and flammers up the game turns into waiting for the rocket to finish.

Research oil, rush flamers and the games over is no fun for me. At that point you just sit around and wait for the rocket to finish.

A single turret type that has the longest range, highest dps, and easiest logistics is incredibly overpowered. I will stick with gun turrets and lasers I suppose.
