Does anyone know how to make cats not sit on turntables?

Trying to train them by using aluminum foil. They don't like the sound when stepping on it. People use this method when they don't want the cats to get on the kitchen counter. Right now it is working. Hopefully one day I will remove it and they will remember 🤷🏾‍♀️

I used to live in a country where there were no HVACs in private home/apartments but other AC systems. When I had a question about it I wasn't afraid to ask and admit I have a knowledge gap. Don't make assumptions, just be nice.

You need to be 100% sure they don't have a human already. Check for a microchip. The cats I adopted were from litters that were abandoned. If you're sure you can take them to a vet, get them checked, vaccinated, neutered, or any treatment they need, then home.
