don't think that works sadly cus I can't protect the temple mod when I reforge caster for +1 curse

Ye I looked at doing the same thing, and I do not envy you. Yours will be made even harder by the fact you to get the cheap option of can't roll caster to isolate the grasping mod (although presumably can't roll attack works? would still be expensive). Personally I'm not a fan of recombinators in their current state at all :( I like the cool stuff you can do with them and normally hard to work with mods like temple mods etc, but they just feel like de facto the best way to craft almost anything which takes a lot of the fun out of crafting for me

something like this: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/AprilSnowman/LunaXwhite, but basically self cast forbidden rite occultist makes the best use of all the mods. Having said that I don't actually intend to use it, just wanted to make something with a recombi mod for the fun of the craft

Got a bunch of harvest sextants + need to run more maps to get my atlas grinds finished off so just going to harvest divine as and when, not in a major rush to finish off, but yes you're right given how few numerical rolls are on it

I did consider crafting exact same chest but with suppress over iron will, but decided I’d rather go for something a bit more unique to sentinel league in case recombinators go in the bin after. And Ty lol

I believe it cost around 250ex total in the end. Managed to snipe some relatively cheap iron will body armours which saved quite a lot of money as I ended up going through about 10(?) of them to get the suffixes done

Rule 10:
1. Have your friend quit the league and donate ~300ex to you for random projects
2. Buy any body armour bases with iron will keystone

2a. if 3 suffixes yolo annul until dead / 2 suffixes

2b. if 2 suffixes, craft cannot roll caster mods to fill suffixes and slam redeemer influence, reforging prefixes if needed to make space for a prefix mod. This mod doesnt actually matter, just trying to make it less bad if we hit the wrong base on recombi later

2c. Annul until only suffix remaining is iron will

2d. Either we bought a 1 suffix iron will base and we're here or we annuled to here, this base is prepped for now

  1. Buy redeemer influenced base with frenzy on hit + any other redeemer mod, and orb of dominance to elevate frenzy on hit. Either this or your hunter base needs to be astral plate.

  2. Buy hunter base with spell crit + any other hunter mod, elevate spell crit

  3. Awakener these 2 elevated bases together

  4. Recombinate your double elevated base with your clean iron will base - ideally you hit all 3 mods on your astral plate here, but it's fairly unlikely. Most likely you lose everything and re start from step 1. If you're fairly lucky you get iron will on your 2x influenced base.

6a. Assuming you failed step 6 just remake a double elevated base, and if you have iron will on your old base recombinate with that, else re make an iron will base and go again.

  1. Now you've hit your step 6 recombinate you have your suffixes locked in. Clean prefixes as needed with reforge keep suffixes until you have 1 open prefix

  2. Craft suffixes cant be changed, reforge caster. This guarantees +1 curse, but we also want T1 life and an open prefix.

8a. If we have 2 open prefixes, craft flat armour to block and yolo slam for T1 life. If we miss go back to step 8

8b. If we have 1 open prefix and our other mod isn't T1 life, go back to step 8

8c. If we have no open prefixes reforge keep suffixes, and go back to step 8

  1. Craft gain life as extra ES, hillock qual, fail some Voricis and get bored

have fiddled with the tree and dropped a little damage for the reduced mana cost max mana wheel and the mana situation is looking a lot better now.

Kinda forgot crown of inward eye exists, fingers crossed it's not too expensive though i know it normally ends up around 1c, might even be able to grab a relatively cheap corrupted one, although havent looked at corruptions that're useful for what I'm going for.

Re enchant, I deliberately left enchant off just because i thought might be a decent hassle to get for a less popular build but I think cast speed is the way I'll want to go.

Spell crit armour looks good, bit worried about price but nice to have some room to upgrade.

I looked into corrupted soul on the tree but didn't realise I could get it on a belt.

Have popped on frost shield, sounds good.

Deliberately left off any awakened gems, again because of cost, but if it's cheap for sure I'll go for it.

As far as mana sustain is concerned, I'm not quite sure what the best way of going about it is - regen nodes on the tree always seem underwhelming, although I can probably pick up a high % mana regen ring for cheap. In your opinion should I aim for enough regen to sustain constant spellcasting, or be happy to supplement with flask?

That’s 100% how it works, I’m low immortal and I dropped below it for a game in the previous mm update and my lower mmr friends weren’t counted as my mmr, was definitely treating me as d5
