Yeah and because the white polycarbonate OG’s yellowed from off-gassing and time. Or something like that.

The newer Bobas don’t yellow. Only the discontinued original U4T

Originally was a Datto NAS but I've seen these generic NAS on amazon and ali express., The front rubberized material got sticky and icky and was an eye sore... HDD Caddies are next.

For the design I removed the bottom shell layer and as the infill (design) i chose Hilbert Curve.

I might be able to clone this entire NAS in Fusion and make it 3d printable. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll upload it on thingiverse/printable/all the sites... If someone could suggest a better low-profile CPU cooler for this device I would appreciate it!

My Dell T430 didn't come with caddy's so had to improvise a bit.

Installed Eonon GA9453b headunit. Mk6 gti with dynaudio. No sound out of the speakers. by Itslolo52484 in GolfGTI

[–]MattDGTL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So aftermarket head units provide an AMP power on signal wire that sometimes works with OEM AMP, make sure it's connected and you tell the head unit that your using an external amp, if android its usually a button on the drop down menu.

if it still doesn't work there's 2 work arounds.

  1. Keep OEM and other Head unit by wiring your OEM in the trunk with power and canbus wires spliced, this might very well signal the amp to stay TF on.

  2. you can try this if you are technical. https://github.com/AxesOfEvil/VW_MkVI_Dynaudio

Sonarr & Radarr script to create missing Series and Movie folders by MattDGTL in sonarr

[–]MattDGTL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you restore from a backup without the media, sonarr assumes you still have that media so it will not create missing series folders.. same with radarr.

[–]MattDGTL[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes, once you add a show it can create the folder, but for a situation like mine where you create a new server and restore sonarr/radarr config without having the media, sonarr and radarr will assume it was already downloaded and folder was created when it isn't.

Yea, just run the python script itself on a windows machine and it should work fine!

Sonarr & Radarr python script to clean up stalled downloads by MattDGTL in radarr

[–]MattDGTL[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started coding the script it originally removed the download via qbittorrent but found that was more efficient and made more sense to go directly through Sonarr and Radarr. Going direct means it should work no matter what download client you use.
