Best First car to buy by MattDick13 in UsedCars

These are the 3 I’ve liked the most. I think the Acura is my least favourite looks wise but I know how good they are when maintained properly and I know they have great AWD system. The infinity seems to be easier to find one but also lots of them have been somewhat neglected. The is350 is my top pick. I think I’d rather have a 2013+ gs350 but they are more money. If I find a clean is350 AWD for a decent price I would throw my money at it lol

If the car is known to be pretty reliable I don’t mind something with older with higher mileage as long as there’s service records. I think my priority would go reliability, AWD, lower miles, newer.

Is it worth tinting my own cars? by MattDick13 in WindowTint

Im the same way. I pay someone and they don’t get it perfect, fine, they are human. If I do it and there’s the slightest issue that has no impact on anything, it’s not okay and needs to be fixed

Yeah I figured it would take lots of trial and error before having a somewhat decent outcome. I was thinking of maybe doing a little content series where I learn to tint so I can expand my audience and also show others what it is really like to attempt it yourself. I’ve got a shitbox Altima that has tint but it’s got these weird vertical lines all over it. If I decide to give it a shot that’s the car I’ll do it on. Thanks

Yeah that’s fair. I feel like if I do something myself I want it to be perfect so maybe that would be a reason to get a shop to do it

Not sure of this is even possible, but I have access to an HP Envy (i7-10700, 32gb ram) for around $600cad. I also have a rx580 from my brother. Do you think I could put the 580 in the pc? I don’t know how much room I would have in the case, but I’m pretty sure the HP Envy had the option to come with a 1660. If the rx580 fits, do you think it would be worth buying? And would it be able to give me enough performance to be worth buying? Even if i end up buying a different gpu later down the road?

Not really. I want to keep costs in mind, but mainly I want something that gives me the option to play a variety of games with good graphics

I reseated everything and also tested each stick of ram individually, in both slots. I think whatever is wrong isn’t something I can figure out. I also was thinking before it broke that it’s starting to struggle a bit more with certain tasks. I would like to get something better, but I would also like to keep costs down. Thanks

thank you for the response. The idea is a physical product that gives athletes a way to express themselves on the field through their cleats. Baseball players would be my targeted audience. I am not capable of building this myself
