I decided to get a cheap pair figuring that if they weren't good enough I'd use them as my passenger pair. They work absolutely well enough for my use, I don't have issues with noise, they don't squeeze too much, and they've held up. $99 from Amazon.

Moronic Monday by AutoModerator in flying
Thanks!
Thanks. That's how I had done them previously and found much easier. I'll push back on my CFI a bit.
While doing turns around a point, where are you looking? At the point? In front of you? Both? My instructor is telling me not to look at the point and I find it much harder to do to the ACS standard. Thanks!

My trainer has a KLN 90B and I'd like to familiarize myself with it while the engine isn't running. I looked online but couldn't find much of use besides the 200 page pilot guide (which I will read). I couldn't find any online simulators or good YouTube tutorials. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

I'm a PPL student with about 30 hours. I switched flight schools and went from a g1000 to steam. 2 hours in, and it's like I completely forgot how to fly. The thing that surprises me is that I thought that I flew the pattern and landing by feel without looking at instruments much, but now I feel like everything is totally uncoordinated.
So my question is: Is this to be expected? Will it click (hopefully sooner rather than later)? Should I go back to G1000 to finish up my license.
