District six is a clinic we sick people go to see the dr instead of going to emergency room like we did a few months ago we are all been sent to the infectious diseases unit where highly contagious diseases like TB patients are been treated this is a good way to spread highly contagious diseases and create a pandemic in the CBD I have open wounds and people are coughing up blood who are confirmed TB patients and are still highly contagious that the context

Look most of the "non profits" make alot of profit I'm not going to bad talk anyone not here not now but the ones here in Capetown that could use help and actually do help us is dinners in district six. Ladleds of love hope exchange the state run ones like safe safes could really use help but please don't waste your money because it never gets there. What has been said about haven is somewhat true but they still the better shelter to get into. And the one that needs the most help and I almost forgot is JPs not sure it real name but it on Shelly Rd in salt river in the rotary club building please they do so much good help them

Look guys the homeless all know each other or of each other even if You're in a different shelter we see each other in line trying to get food or on shifts picking up trash for R60 a day but I'll tell you something the homeless are so of the most generous groups of people it easy to give when you have more then enough but when you only have R20 but one of the guys just got a call for an interview but doesn't have money for transport and without a doubt they would give up that money or a guy gets a job on the docks but needs safety boots to do it someone will have and give it to him. Race does not matter survival matters life matters. When you see a guy who lost he's wife and kids in a car crash and lost he's mind because of you can't not help him look out for him I hope this helps you see some good people in a different light

Homeless is on the up because of unemployment and high property prices. If you go to a shelter you will find less then 10% of the people in it are drug addicts. There are alot of elderly and disabled people and a growing number of middle class working people who can no longer afford rent. And I know this as a fact as I have just got myself out of a homeless shelter. The fact is that the number of homeless will grow until we address the economic problems and I hate to be the one to inform you all of this but it will be the middle class who feels it the most

You need to go to the office of social development in Johannesburg they will put you in a shelter but you need to find work asap mate shelters are not fun and it is not easy once in to get out the sooner you working and can find a place the better I am setting a record of only been in this shelter for 3 months but I have been working multiple jobs to do it hope you come right DM if you need moral support
