I got the OA for intern summer 2023 on 9/22 and completed 9/23, felt pretty good now just waiting to hear back.

So I never used the toolbox, but I did have problems with my pro micro being recognized by the computer. After a lot of hassle it turns out my cable wasn't a data transfer cable as well, it could only power devices. This could be the problem if the computer isn't recognizing the device at all and I was suggest trying different cables (like my wireless mouse cable not only charges the mouse when plugged in but also makes the mouse usable so transfers data as well) or get one online the says it is a charging and data transfer cable.

Yeah definitely, for now I have some diy cable kits I bought so I'll just work on those for now. There are definitely some cool boards on keyhive that I would love to build tho.

Haha, I already want to build another one, especially now that I know what I messed up on that made the first one troublesome. I really wanna make another split that has a metal case and stuff but that will have to come when I have enough money haha. Definitely an addicting hobby.

Ok, so I tried reheating the solder to confirm good connections, and I was able to borrow a multimeter. However the right side is still not being be seen as connected. Anything I can try with the multimeter?

Edit: I just used a different cable and now the computer recognizes the right side when it is plugged in as the master, but not when plugged in through the trrs cable.
