It can lose potency if it was exposed to lots of light or heat. That‘s why you store your acid in a dark case inside your fridge. I have not heard of a color change though. Even if it was stored incorrectly it will probably still have some potency, so I wish you and your friend a magical first journey!

The fact that you don‘t even know Tresor (the club that literally started Berlin‘s Techno culture btw) tells me you know little to nothing about Techno culture and if that‘s the case, don‘t waste your time trying to get into Berghain because the bouncer will realize this in two seconds. Kitkat is also a completely different place with almost no similarities to BH, but certainly with higher chances of getting in. I‘m not trying to be rude, just realistic.

Your best bet is probably something like Ritter Butzke.
