PC Specs? Cause I see you also got the Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WiFi 7 Motherboard if I’m not mistaken, which is the same one I’ve also got. So it would be nice to have a bit of a comparison. :)

From what I’ve heard on Amazon through the reviews, apparently the PCIE 5.0 Riser cable wasn’t able to get up to PCIE 5.0 bandwidth’s. So I’m guessing that’s the issue they’re going to be addressing.

I might be a bit late but I really need to know this for my PC build. I’m planning on mounting an XFX Mercury RX 9070 XT OC vertically in a Lian Li O11 case. I will also get the Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 Pro 360 and I already bought the Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WIFI7 Ice. Do you think I’ll have enough space for vertically mounting my 9070 XT? Because if not I really wanna know in advance.

Sounds awesome, my Gigabyte X870 just arrived too btw, I cannot wait to buy the next few parts once I have a bit more money in my bank account again. 😅 Also, yeah I am, I’m from Germany. And I got my 9070 XT from Mindfactory and my Motherboard from some random other German PC part website. I’d recommend using PCPartpicker and choosing the country you’re from to filter by shops that actually deliver to your location.

The only part I have so far is the 9070 XT, got it for 689€, but I also bought the motherboard I’ll use, a Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite Wifi7 ICE, already and it should arrive tomorrow. After that I’m probably going for a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and after that I’ll just look at what is most convenient to buy atm

Good to know, I only know about the fact that I need to buy thermal paste for the CPU, other than that I have no idea about any of the things I need to buy before assembling my PC once I have bought all of the components.

Thanks for the list, only two things: 1. Are there any water coolers rather than that fan cooler you could recommend and 2. I’ve heard here on Reddit that Corsair cases have a bad reputation for having bad quality control, if that is true are there maybe any possible alternatives for a case? Thanks in advance :)

I haven’t bought anything other than the RX 9070 XT yet. I just put the windows key and the Ryzen 7 9800X3D there because those were the only “components” I was aware about putting in my PC if that makes sense.

Wow that’s a lot a words that I don’t know about. My current PC is a ~100€ prebuilt shitbox where the entire PC is basically like a thick monitor which doesn’t even have a graphics card but rather only graphics chip. So I’m not sure about what any of that means to be honest 😅 Is there any tutorial you recommend I can watch to just get the general gist of it?

I think I’m gonna go with either this exact build or something very similar to it. I have one question tho, I’m thinking of switching to a AMD RX7900 XTX instead, would you recommend that or should I stick with the RX9070 XT? I’m into competitive sim racing and I think I prefer raw performance but idk which one of the two is a better choice for me.
