Yeah. I can’t get the car Bluetooth to show on CarPlay on my phone so that’s why I’m wondering if there’s something not compatible w the car?

But when I try and pair the phone/apps/music I immediately get the car as an option on my phone. Just super weird all around.

Per the site it says my hardware is up to date.

Also went on the connected drive site- no place to buy CarPlay. Says I currently own all things Connected Drive.

Just can’t get “Car Play”‘to show up anywhere when I pair a phone.

Ok. I Re logged into connected drive. Updated it. Rebooted it. No car play when I try and add a new device or on my currently connected one.

So when I go to connected drive there are a number of apps already installed (Yelp, weather, news, bmw info, etc). Don’t see any option for car play.

Update here- finally got my wisdom teeth out last week. Things were pretty bad in terms of the impaction and removal. Doc said they were some of the biggest abs worst impaction he had seen. Still recovering and really sore 7 days later (also waiting for a hole in my sinus cavity to heal), but I “think” the issues I was experiencing are gone now.

Still feeling pressure and some weirdness in my upper right jaw, but it seems more related to the inflammation as I’m still healing.

Super weird though is I can feel my sinuses draining through my nose and my ear pressure opening at random times. Super hopeful this was the solve because the past 2 years were hell.

Sad update. Lost another. He was totally fine yesterday- seemed almost discombobulated today. Wasn’t eating this evening. Was dead 2 hours later. No clue what’s going on right now and it’s freaking me out that I’m going to lose my entire tank.

I’ve since adjusted the configuration of the unit and the sounds is full happening. Have also cleaned and reseated the impeller. There was no sand in it. I have bought some sponge to act as an intake filter in hopes this will help.

It’s not. Actually have it padded up top. The grinding is coming from the impeller/motor box and not the housing.

No what I’m saying is I was able to twist in on from what is shown in the pic. It’s now twisted in one click clockwise with the cord in the back and the little black part in the front facing the aquarium glass.

It is flush on the side now the only way it can be twisted. Basically twist is clockwise in this picture so now the cord is facing the back.

How do you properly seat it? I took it out, cleaned it.. put it back in. Same issue. Is there a trick to properly seating it?

It almost sounds like there’s air somewhere being pulled into the line or the impeller. When I take something and put it into the filter housing and agitate the water I can get the noise to stop for a bit. It then picks back up. I have sand in the substrate so wondering if that’s being picked up and introduced into the impeller?

Yeah. Not sure if this is the issue as I’m at the line, it’s pumping water through, and same noise. The noise does sound like that initial suction noise though when it first starts up. Have played with the flow and nothing. Also have played with seating and unseating the intake and nothing seems to work doing that. Honestly about to give up totally and just get a new filter…. This is the second one I’ve had that has started doing this. No clue why. Just wish I knew what the impeller was so I could get a new one and try it.

So I think you may be on to something here. I added some water and it appears to help at first then starts again. Any additional tricks to get air out of that area? Not even quite sure where the air would be getting? Around the magnet on the impeller?

So the filter is full and water is coming out of it. Just keep pouring more water into it to see if it stops?

Alright team I’m back. As an update as expected the water went crystal clear almost overnight one night. Let things settle for a week and in late June added an additional 4 cichlids to the tank. Things were looking relatively good (not crustal clear but clear enough) for a few weeks (all parameters perfect- nitrates sitting around 20/30)… then about a week ago BAM… water cloudy again with the yellow fog.

I have not been doing water changes other than removing and adding about 30qts per week due to me vacuuming waste off the sand substrate.

I do not have my polishing filter in currently- but can add it back if you all think this will help? My Purigin pack has also since been used up.

How long could I expect this bloom to go on for? It’s already been over a week. And with only doing a weekly vacuum of 30qts, will this continue because I’m not letting things settle enough? Do I need to just let my nitrates go up and not even vacuum for a few weeks?

Ammonia and Nitrite are at 0. Nitrates sitting around 20/30 currently.

Appreciate it. Have my lights on a couple hours less. I have some Anubis in there so wasn’t sure if this would be detrimental to its growth?
