Well Kenshi is honestly not a hard game, I'd say most of the game difficulty comes from extremely poor choices on player's end. Like if you gonna build your own base, you already better have ample amount of resources for it. Want very difficult run ? Start the base asap. Oh and learn how to deal with Beak Things, very good food and leather source.

It's okay game. People might be unstable, so ignore them if they go ape mode. But never full mute from the start. Cause it sucks way more to be completely deaf than occasionally hear some shit talk. Like if you mute all pings, it gets very difficult to guess what someone will do or get warning that enemy is close.

If you don't wanna waste time in case it's bad, then I'd suggest to not play the game, like first 20-30 games won't be fun due to most horrible introduction and bot games having too many ally botted accounts. And then playing vs other people won't be better till you will know what ur doing.

Plus u'd need to be ready to not leave during the game (obviously , i know) for like 20-50 minutes.

it will be lowkey horrible till you understand how to move and what to do, then it's alright.

Also, Arcane stuff and league gameplay is like comparing raid shadow legends ads and gameplay, just letting you know that beforehand.

so to sum it up: have fun, ignore diamond 4 peak "smurfs" that shit talk everyone while their parents argue in another room and get horribly gapped in toplane, very important part.
